To be sitting in soft play wondering

How it is possible for all these other little boys & girls to still look tidy & clean while my dd is raggedy as soon as we leave the house?

I've brought dd (4) to soft play while ds is at a party.
I'm sitting here while she plays with another group of girls all with pigtails still intact, white jumper still white, no dirty knees or grubby faces.
My dd, I don't know how she manages it, just attracts dirt, her red leggings have grey knees, her hair bobbles are somewhere in the play area never to be seen again, her vest is somehow pulled up out the front of her jumper.
She's grinning from ear to ear though and loving it.
Anyone else have a lo who just can't stay clean?

(light hearted - I don't mind having a mucky dd really)

My ds is 2.5 and always looks very tidy.

I'll tell you why.

He is a fussy eater who doesn't like food with any kind of sauce. His preference is for dry food. So no food on face or clothes.

He doesn't gravitate to craft activities. At nursery he likes puzzles, cars, blocks, running around and balls. So no paint stains etc.

And for some reason his hair sits well. I think it is because I only wash it occasionally because for the couple of days after it has been freshly washed it is a lot more fly-away and scruffy. So I think the tidy hair ties in with the other points, if dc get food+craft in their hair it needs more washing and therefore looks more scruffy Grin

But he does need a bath a day or he gets smelly Grin
