to ask for a yummy mummy changing bag for Christmas?

DD2 will be born in January and my old changing bag (a miracle bag) has worn out. It was great but I fancy a change this time. I have looked around at loads, but have fallen for the yummy mummy range, yes, the ones with the embroidered cupcake on. Not keen on the name/brand image, just think they look so pretty and practical. I know they are extortionate!

I am not a yummy mummy, although I do love cupcakes and own a Cath Kidston handbag.

I had one. I loved it. Sometimes I used to turn it around so the yummy mummy bit was not showing. But I will admit that was a weird low esteem thing to do.

I used it as a travel bag for all the dds stuff long after they needed nappies.

I recently stuck it in the washing machine and it came up lovely, then I Ebayed it and got £40 for it.

Part of me wishes I had kept it though. Seems funny, but it holds lots of memories!

I probably will look around a bit more since I'm not in a rush.

DH isn't getting much for Xmas as he doesn't want/need much and doesn't like gifts that he doesn't need. He would be spending more on me, which he usually does, not that we really add things up. Yes, I know it is sort of for the DC, but I will be using it instead of my handbag for the year I'm on maternity leave so it's one that I like and not DH or DC. I am getting new boots for Xmas, but other than that I don't feel I need much - hobbies are baking and reading and I won't have much free time for either once the baby comes!

I got mine half price on Boxing Day sale last year mine is the blooming one!
