To think the Sainsbury's offer for loyal shoppers is poor

Spend £70 or more between blah and 9th Nov and you get a voucher. Each online delivery we got a 4 more shops, 3 more etc. Tantalising!

Did our 5th shop last week but only remembered this week we should have got a voucher. Phoned up and the voucher was... free delivery worth £5.99!

When Tesco is offering £5 off a £40 shop when you spend £40 and Morrisons is offering £25 or £40 off your Christmas shop if you collect tokens over the weeks AIBU to think the Sainsburys offer for loyal shoppers in the key run up to Christmas period is poor?

I have a loyalty card for The Co-operative We were meant to get our dividend cheques this week but because they made a loss we get nothing! Shock Hmm They are offering some sort of money off receipt thing though!

MrsBramley The money off thing for the Co-op is a 10% off your next shop offer. If you spend between £5-£100, you'll get a voucher for your next shop no matter what you buy.

Waitrose are good and price wise are cheaper than sainsburys - I've used mysupermarket.com to do a comparison. I was surprised!

SteamWisher · 17/11/2013 13:07

And I used the Waitrose first five shops off offer - was great!

well after my praise of Sainsburys yesterday - and I do still love them for their customer service - I went to investigate the brand new Aldi on the other side of town this morning.

I suspect that Sainsburys will be seeing a lot less of my nectar card over the coming weeks/months!

Thing is, I like the stuff they sell in Sainsbo best. I suppose Waitrose is better quality for some things, but value for money & being fussy, Sainsbury's most often wins.

They manage to undercut Lidl for a few things we buy, too.

I used a voucher code from www.goodoclock.com

the voucher code was £40 off when you spend £360 and I end up paying £40 having £320 off, should I let them know? at goodoclock.com or the retailer
