To not mention one of my jobs when applying for other jobs

Just wanted a bit of careers advice as I'm really unsure about this. I work at a professional level in a career with public services. Unfortunately my department is relocating next summer and due to childcare and distance I am not going to go with it. This leaves me looking for other work.
When my main job started on the wind down 18 months ago we all had our hours cut and to make ends meet I took another job 12 month ago in a supermarket.
I'm now starting to apply for other jobs to replace my main job and I don't know whether to put my supermarket job down on the application forms. This is purely to do with snobbery and me thinking that I might be looked down for having this type of job. I actually know now that it is ridiculous and I work just as hard mentally as well as physically in the shop. However, I know that those attitudes exist. But I don't know if it is dishonest not to mention this job at all. I'd be looking for admin jobs that wouldn't be directly relevant to either job.
Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on this?
Thanks

I probably wouldn't mention it purely as its irrelevant for the type of roles you're applying for.

We're you doing the supermarket as well as the other job? If missing it out won't leave a gap then just leave it out.

I work part-time and have taken wee temp jobs in the run up to Christmas and don't mention them

So long as you were still doing your "professional" job as well, then I do not think that you need to mention the supermarket job as well. My analogy, if you were earning extra money by making jewellery or holding tupperware parties, you would not mention it. It is comparable.

Your CV should be a true and honest account of your professional experience. Not a log of how you fund your life.

By analogy - Doh!

Thank you! That's what I'll do then.
