To feel annoyed at people who brag about their lives on fb

Why do some people feel the need to show what a wonderful hotel they are staying in or sharing how their partners are spoiling them? It makes me sick

Facebook is personal to that person.. If that person is irritating you then hide them till they are not.

It's twating bitstrips that are annoying the hell pit of me and I'm not sure why.

I thought that was the point of FB, or thats what my DH tells me when I moan about it!

I know specifically of two people who seem to use it for this purpose.

I wonder if its some physocoligal release because ONE is always in RL being irritated and annoyed by her DC moaning about them, complaining, always saying what irrtiates her, lots of big sighs etc when dealing with them. Her FB posts are always DC related and how much she loves them! I dont doubt she does, but of all the people I know who are more balanced about their DC its her who seems to be ramming it home how much she loves them .

The other one is, woman with large house, two dc's who keeps posting about her wonderful DH, constant pics of the DC and always attention seeking one liners....but mostly about how lucky she is to have amazing DH. Again I know a good friend of his who always tells me how much he moans about her and cant stand her and barely seems to respect her.

I don't have FB. I am blissfully unaware of the minutiae of other peoples' lives like what they did today/yesterday/ate for dinner/went on holiday and feel under pressure to make the right noises when seeing the communal pictures.

They are welcome to email me and send a picture if they really want to though. Or a text.
