to want to report this taxi driver?

I booked a taxi from a well known taxi firm and from the second I stepped foot in his cab I felt uneasy.

He proceeded to tell me that he dropped a woman off last night, who is an alcoholic. He said that she had previously reported his colleague for groping her and he said that he made well sure to keep away from her because he didn't want reporting either.

Fair enough, I suppose...

But then he went on to tell me about how he picks up young girls "dressed up like strippers" and how he makes sure he is around at the end of the night to pick them up because by then "their tits are out and their skirts are even shorter and they're fucked" and that he likes watching them stumble out of his car.

All the time he was telling me this he pretty much maintained eye contact with me with his rear view mirror and it made me feel really quite uneasy. I don't know if I am being overly sensitive - I was attacked aged 16 by a cab driver - but I am a youngish (25) female that got in his cab on my own. AIBU to want to report him for... well I don't know really.

I suppose first, AIBU to find him distasteful at the very least?

the borough that i live in has issued their drivers not to talk about sex with their passengers as its un professional / hard to prove innoncence on correct party.
i would report to their taxi base as its completley out of order what he's said, and check with the licensing division on their policy

So he wasn't really concentrating on the driving, either? I'd report him on grounds of unprofessional behaviour for the comments and not driving safely enough by not concentrating on the road in front of him.

Ask the taxi company to give you the id number of the taxi. Refer the matter to the Council.

Completely unacceptable behavior.
