My friend (in RL) is obsessed with Mumsnet, particularly AIBU. Whenever one of our friends has a problem in real life, her solution is invariably "stick it on AIBU, they'll sort you out." She constantly recounts stories she has read on here, to the point we're slightly concerned it's taking over her life (I would put a smiley in but I'm confused as to how). Even more concerning, is the fact she sometimes uses MN abbreviations in real sentences, and none of us have a clue what she is talking about.
have no idea of her username, although am sure she's probably a regular contributor. But I feel Lucy is a common enough name that she won't be outed and she needn't comment on the thread if she's worried about that.
Anyway, it's her birthday tomorrow and I know it would actually make her year (as tragic as that is) if some of you would wish her a Happy Birthday (or make some other AIBU typical remark). She'd be more chuffed than if Matt Damon were to walk in butt naked bearing vodka and cake.
Thanks All
