AIBU to think Teletubby nicknames between DPs are perfectly normal?

DP and I have been together for 15 years. From our earliest days together, we have nicknamed one another after Teletubbies. I am Po (little, cute, and very red, being Scouse and an LFC supporter) and he is Tinky Winky (he's not purple, and he doesn't carry a Maggie Thatcher style handbag, but Tinky Winky is Po's best friend, so it makes sense.)

Tinky Winky has been shortened to ''Winky'' over the years.

Some of you, somewhere, MUST be equally strange? I refuse to believe that it is just us.

If it makes you feel any better myself and dp have nicknamed our unborn baby Lala? It came about able cause dp thought it would be amazing if we were like teletubbies and have tv screens in our stomach so he could see what the baby is doing

I spoke to someone at work about this this afternoon. They informed me that their nicknames for one another are Bastard and Bitch!

Boyfriend and I call each other by Scooby doo characters, on going joke from one of our earliest conversations and they stuck. Definitely in private though!
