Or is DH re yoghurts?

I bought some of those own brand crunch corner yoghurts, you know the ones, with cornflake things in a separate part to the yoghurt.

DH eats his by tipping the cornflakes into the yoghurt and mixing them in first.

I eat mine by putting a few cornflakes on my spoon, then adding yogurt. I maintain that mixing the cornflakes in first means they will be soggy by the time you get to the end. Besides, if the cornflakes were meant to be in with the yoghurt, the manufacturer would put them in there, rather than in a separate part.

Who is BU?

Reading into your op, i think yogurts are the least of your problems. Have you considered counselling?

You are OP, very, very unreasonable.

Oh my god, yanbu.

The fruity ones are a prime example of why. If you mix it in, you may as well be eating a strawberry yoghurt ffs! You've just flavoured a plain/vanilla. Pointless. May as well cut out the middle man and buy a ski.

If you put the fruit on the spoon first (a good ratio is 1/3 fruit to 2/3 yoghurt, imo) and then add the yoghurt, you're getting the experience the manufacturers were intending. AND that's how you'll ever see it done on the front of the packets - there's even instructions.

Can you tell me and DP have had the same debate?

I can't help wondering how you manage to eat a bowl of corn flakes if you don't like soggy flakes of corn.

I like eating each part separately Blush

Kirjava- that's it! It transcends all types of 'corner' yoghurts. With regards to my comment about the manufacturer putting them in there, maybe not with plain cornflakes, but they have granola and chocolate coated cereals which would withstand weeks of yoghurt soaking, and of course there's the fruit varieties. Like kirjava said, why spend the money on a corner yoghurt only to mix it together and make an Asda smart price fruit yoghurt?

Lionel- I don't eat cornflakes! I either eat cereals which stay crispy/manage not to fall apart when soggy (such as shredded wheat, or I'm partial to a Lidl own brand Krave type cereal), or I eat a cereal designed to be soggy (such as weetabix or porridge). Cornflakes just piss me off, the way you start the bowl all crunchy and by the end there's a few limp little bits of unidentifiable mush.

I agree with Kirjava re fruit to yoghurt ratios. 1:2 is perfect! Grin

God I hope there aren't any guns in your house.
