....generated by my neighbours' teens having a party, while parents are away for the weekend.

They only left at 5pm, and the racket was in full swing by 7pm.
Now that's organisation for you!
I really am not a party pooper, but it's LOUD
(and the houses are fair distance apart)

I used to have mad parties when my parents were away and my neighbours (mum and dads friends) would gatecrash.
Depending on what mood they were in they'd either use me as a glorified bar service all night or they'd come in and tell my friends they were CID.

They were a good bunch!

Eeek thought you were my neighbour until you said the parents were away. My Dd had a party last night (quite proud of her she's usually very anal) it was loud and busy and my house is filthy but they were all out be 11.30 and we were tucked up in bed for 12.
