Argh I can't read the thread as I'm only half-way through season 4. But yes, it's not that Gus is hot so much as he has an absolutely amazing face. He just changes one muscle and goes from solicitous and pleasant to utterly evil and murderous. Alec Guinness could do that too.
Also, he has a voice like melted butter.

The amazing thing about the series is how your allegiances change. Gus is generally the ruthless criminal mastermind, opposing Walt (and making Walt seem morally better in comparison) but, in that scene where they are the prisoners of the cartel, you are rooting for Gus, along with the others , to escape (and survive!)

Saul is hilarious - he's my favourite character. It's such a great show. We're half-way through series 4. I'll be devastated when we're done.

Gus aka Giancarlo Esposito is a legend. LOVED him in Homicide: Life on the Street.

Agree with those who say Gus is sexless though and probably 'has a smooth front bum' .

We had a takeaway the other week and I swear gus fring delivered it. Complete with suit and glasses and everything. Spoke very nicely as well. I did a proper double take when I opened the door!

But mike is sooooo cool. He's a grandad, which puts him way off the agenda for me. And he's not a looker, but he's the best character in the whole thing.

I do love Mike's long-suffering expression whenever someone else mucks up and he has to go in and fix it

Mike has a lovely voice - beautiful tone and expression.

And Saul is hilarious and generally has a solution to everything, which makes him attractive.
