To think just because you turn something orange doesn't mean it's Halloweeny.

Maryland cookies did a toffee apple version a few years ago, they were lovely.

We were in a cafe today and 2yr old DD pointed at the stickers on the window and said "look mummy, a bat, a ghost and an onion!" Not really relevant to the thread but made me smile :-)

Come to Sainsbury's, where it's Hallowe'en all year round!

Which swimming pool will have green water? Want want want! Halloween Envy

Sparklingbrook · 21/10/2013 08:42

Yes, I get annoyed with this. Here in Scotland, we have our own traditions which I don't think should be fucked with.

Turnip lanterns and guising. Proper guising, not trick or treat shite.

I didn't see a pumpkin until I was an adult!

honeybeeridiculous · 21/10/2013 18:14

letsgomaths the green pool is down south, bet the kids will love it! mine are too old now but would of been straight in when they were younger

MrsLouisTheroux · 22/10/2013 08:10

Looking forward to 1st of Nov when all of this shit of these products will be reduced to make room for their Christmas extravaganza!

giraffesCantGoGuising · 22/10/2013 11:06

Yup guising rocks

liquidstate · 22/10/2013 12:45

guising sounds much funner that trick or treat. Halloween Envy

mrspremise · 22/10/2013 18:58

I grew up in Scotland and went guising every year. I now live in Wales and send the kids guising every year, we don't do trick or treating in this house and the dcs understand why I think the fact that the village shop already has a sign up saying that they will not sell eggs and flour to under-16s helps me to explain it

honeybeeridiculous · 22/10/2013 19:14

Just seen SCaero bubbles, with orange centres Grin

PistachioTruffle · 22/10/2013 19:19

YABU.

Fiendish fancies have a slight orange flavour to them, and are amazingly delicious and more-ish. I am 32 weeks pregnant, craving them massively and worried about how I'll get by when they've disappeared next week Halloween Shock
