After a 12 hour shift to expect a foot rub

Started my shift at 8am. Supposed to finish at 5pm, but got off at 19.45pm.

20 minute break, on my feet the rest of the time.

Got home at 8.15, had bath, sat down with feet up and just whispered it would be lovely to have a foot rub.

Was met by 2 pairs of horrified eyes. We are not going near your pongy nurses feet ever.

IABU to be upset by this slur on my little feet (ok, they could be the tiniest bit smelly).

if they smell just after a bath then that's bad.

however as an ex nurse myself I can testify that's entirely possible.

LTB..,, you deserve a foot rub. just pinch a theatre mask for him.Grin

YANBU! I have tried in vain to get my smelly nurses feet massaged by DH, never happens. Ask them to mix you a large G&T instead!,
