I use a wine stoppery thing. DP doesnt drink, and I can't drink a bottle of wine in one evening!

What are these strange things that you speak of.Tab sealer, wine stopper, lids for ice cream.Obviously the work of the devil.GrinWinefor good measure.I think they should have a bottle rather than a glass, makes it more realistic.

mrsjay · 15/10/2013 21:22

but you can keep it in the fridge without the stopper

I get mine from crisps and wine Blush I finished a huge bag of Aldis steak crisps on sunday night while watching a film and most of a bottle of wine

Brilliant thread!

I have done the egg thing too, with my children's chocolate, and DH's... and had to go out and buy more then make it match.

I bet I'm not the only person ever to have eaten an entire tub of Ben and Jerry's straight out of the tub either!

And leftover wine? PMSL!

ObtuseAngel · 15/10/2013 21:27

Have you forgotten about potty training? That's why you might want to reseal chocolate stars and buttons, I have no idea why you might want to put a stopper on a wine bottle. Although toilet training might have been a lot less stressful if DS got a choccie for each wee/poo and I got a swig of wine for each one. Grin

I once read a thread about potty training, where one MNer said she had sent her child to her mother's for a week. When DC came back, they were potty trained. Grin

There is a toblerone in my fridge. DH broke off two segments to eat last night. He's only just finished his Easter stash! Surely this is grounds for divorce?? That toblerone will be there looking at me til Christmas Sad

coldwinter · 16/10/2013 09:11

Leave the bastard..

Or just eat it?

ObtuseAngel · 16/10/2013 13:10

Coldwinter, my DM would have had to keep DS for about 3.5 years to really crack potty training. Grin DD, on the other hand, insisted she wanted to use the loo and only had a few wee accidents and no poo accidents at all. So, swings and roundabouts I guess.

I'm afraid we use the reseal tab on Milky Star packets! Children get one star each every day and I don't eat milk chocolate. I like my chocolate more hard corethan that!
