I sent dh out to get me a tin he's come home with a box without any Toblerone in it. I'm now a sad disappointed pregnant woman without any mini Toblerone. What do you have to say for yourself? Hmm?

I like the really HUGE Toblerones (the ones you can get at Christmas) The ones that break your foot if you drop them.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 12/10/2013 21:45

Maybe you DID have Toblerones but the swine ate them on the way home?

I have a Box of Tinys to divide up in the DC Christmas Eve Jar.
(DS likes the white.
DD likes the milk
And the plain that never get eaten will get melted in some cream to make a luscious chocolate sauce )

Makes ya feel better, no?

SmiteYouWithThunderbolts · 12/10/2013 21:48

AHA, I picked up that "fumming" was a thing.

YABU, OP. Why covet tiny Toblerone when the shops sell the massive ones? So much better.

Bettercallsaul1 · 12/10/2013 21:59

Agreed, SMITE, until you leave a tooth in one of the granite-like triangles. (Probably worth it though.)

Bettercallsaul1 · 12/10/2013 22:02

In fact, with broken feet and missing teeth, Toblerone-eating should probably be classified as an extreme sport.

CbeebiesIsMyLife · 12/10/2013 22:10

Grin you've all made a grumpy pregnant lady laugh! Thank you Grin

They were selling Toblerones the size of cinderblocks in Heathrow Duty Free in August. I bought so many I almost threw my back out carrying them to the plane.

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 12/10/2013 22:17

They DO have Toblerones in. I nabbed them all.

thistlelicker · 12/10/2013 22:19

Awww ceebeeebies!! Just get him to buy a toblerone

imofftolisdoonvarna · 12/10/2013 22:20

Am Grin that you wrote (lighthearted) in the thread title!

Unless, was that irony as well?! Blush

GoodbyeRubyTuesday · 12/10/2013 22:25

What you really need is my delicious Toblerone cake... Grin

Bettercallsaul1 · 12/10/2013 22:34

Imoff, this is a deeply serious thread. By Toblerone eaters. I hope you're not going to take the subject lightly.

mikkii · 12/10/2013 22:43

I have started buying the "special offers" now for stockings.

I have 2 packs of orange matchmakers (DH -if you steal mine again I will find ways of inflicting more pain than you can imagine!) 2 large bags of Revels, 5 bags of chocolate orange minis (was 6 but I ate one pack already) and a large fruit and nut toblerone

NicknameIncomplete · 12/10/2013 23:22

I will swap you.

I hate toberlones (?) & all the tins i have seen have them in. Hmm

JadziaSnax · 13/10/2013 01:08

NO BOURNVILLE!! That's just wrong. Badly, badly wrong.

moominleigh94 · 13/10/2013 10:00

I'm fumming now.

It's 10am.

I'm supposed to be going swimming. I'm supposed to be doing exercisey stuff because apparently (news to me) being pregnant isn't an excuse to just eat the entire world and then lie in bed all day (since when? Shock ).

NOW I WANT TOBLERONE. I want toblerone at 10am in the morning in October. Toblerone is a Christmas and father's day thing. And now it's a 10am on October 13th thing too.

FUMMING.

SHarri13 · 13/10/2013 10:26

I think it's only the Christmas tubs that have them, send him back to get one of them.

OMG, what happened to the mini picnic bars in Heros?

Bettercallsaul1 · 13/10/2013 11:53

Moominleigh94 - so another pregnant lady fumming over lack of Toblerone! This is clearly a common craving which indicates (as I have always suspected) that Toblerones, big or small, are absolutely vital to health and happiness. Forget exercise - think of your unborn child and obtain some asap by any means necessary.

Strumpetron · 13/10/2013 11:55

I've got a full tin of Heros here with little toblerones in Grin

jeanmiguelfangio · 13/10/2013 12:39

I am fumming now, I was so resisting eating the Christmas chocolates (damn morrisons) and now I might have to check if they have toblerones in and eat them

Bettercallsaul1 · 13/10/2013 13:13

So much fumming, so few Toblerones! A dark day on Mumsnet.

moominleigh94 · 13/10/2013 14:49

Sent OH out on strict orders not to return without Toblerone, or I'll be doubly fumming. He needs to think of the baby damnit Angry

Bunnygotwhacked · 13/10/2013 15:43

dp is getting some shopping on his way back from work he passes a morrisons have asked him to pick up some toblerone am 25 weeks and in serious need here

moominleigh94 · 13/10/2013 16:08

OH is a keeper should probably have decided this before I got pregnant by him . Comes back with a bag of haribo, big milkybar, big bar of rolo chocolate, tube of mini rolos and TOBLERONE. My fumming days are over.

Bunnygotwhacked · 13/10/2013 16:15

No toblerone for me not fumming just Sad
