WIBU to cut up or deface this betterware catalogue?

Yeah I know they need to make a living.

BUT

I have a sign on my gate saying no unaddressed mail or cold callers. I also have a sign practically begging people not to put anything unnecessary through the door as the noisy German shepherd will bark which wakes the baby up.

DD is 6mo and an awful sleeper, have tried everything and am now on "wait for it to pass". Had literally managed to get her to sleep by walking around with her in the sling for 45 minutes when some arsehole opens the gate and pops a fucking betterware catalogue through the door. The dog barks, the baby screams and we're at square one again.

I know there are much better problems in the world, but there is no way you could miss the signs. Honestly. If I had caught them they probably would have been terrified by my rage.

I tried to be polite about mine and asked a couple of times not to have any more left. I got tutted at and the woman kept leaving them. Problem solved when I left it outside in the rain. She didn't come again. Same problem when I moved house. Polite requests didnt work. Rainy damp book outside did. Dump it outside somewhere visible and let the rain do the work for you.

Shred it and put it back in the bag and shove it back out. Works well.

Betterware woman called here 6 weeks ago to ask whether I wanted to go on receiving the catalogue (obviously noticed that I never order anything). I said thanks but no I don't - she made a note on her clipboard -- and I've had two catalogues through the door since (both from her).....
