about playgroup and minor possible illnesses?

Ds is 9 months old, we go to at least one usually two groups/playgroups a day as ds is a monkey baby very active.

A couple of things have happened recently that made me wonder if I have been being unreasonable taking ds to playgroup when he has a runny nose or more pooey nappies than usual.

Ds had a slightly runny nose a couple of weeks ago, he needed me to whipe it maybe every 20 minutes. He had no otger signs of illness, my friend asked me to make sure my ds didn't play near her ds as she had a job interview later in tge week and she wouldn't have anyone to look after an ill child.

A different friend has a toddler at daycare, she called me to ask me if I could collect her dd as she "had done too many poos" apparently they were not diarrhea type poos but they have a limit (4/5 I think) and if the exceed this it is assumed they are ill and they are sent home. I collected friend's dd, nothing remotely wrong with her.

I have taken ds to playgroup when he has been pooing more regularly, I just assumed we all had days like that.

Lastly my dp decided not to take ds to playgroup n Monday because he ( dp) had a cough.

Aibu to think if a child has an isolated symptom of an illness but are clearly fine in themselves? Have a been really antisocial?

Two a day? You must be mad, woman!

I can understand why children would have been kept at home in all of your examples.
