I'm still catching up on catch up, but I'm really enjoying having two women presenters and Claudia is really sweet and funny.

Anyway, I'm fed up with the main male and sidekick female format of so many programmes - whether as presenters or in drama.

I don't particlary like her TBH.

As long as they are decent presenters I don't really care about the sexes either.

I hope they replace Tess with Claudia, with or without Brucie

It was a joy to watch this week without Brucie mucking everything up. Claudia is brill and she and Tess are great together.

My money is on it being Anton - a familiar face, good relationship with the other dancers and knows what he is talking about.

I don't mind Bruce but Tess is awful. She is very robotic reading her cue cards.
Claudia seems much more at ease interviewing the dancers and her sense of humour appeals to me! I'd replace Tess with Claudia...... I'd accept Bruce still plodding along if I got Tess to resign!

I mostly just want Brucie to retire, preferably today. Saturday's programme went so much better than usual, mostly because we didn't have to sit through all Brucie's non-jokes, struggles with reading cue cards, and false hysteria about things like standing ovations.

But yes, I agree that two female presenters would be fine. The other reason why Saturday's programme went well was, quite simply, that Tess and Claudia did a good professional job, which was a really refreshing contrast to what we normally get from Forsyth.

Bruce Forsyth and a much younger woman in a dress is a formula that hasn't changed since the 1970's.

Claudia is good though, I like her.

Can't stand Strictly though. I guess its the fact that Bruce and Tess take it sooooo seriously that makes people watch.

I agree. I'm really glad they didn't look for another male to replace Bruce on Sundays or when he's ill.

I think Tess and Claudia both do a good job. In fact I think Tess is better in Bruce's role than in her usual one.

I find it really odd that Anton is still dancing tbh. They have all these hot young guys in their 20s, and he's like some gentleman walker for the elderly contestants.

Ghirly - I like him to. I think he would be a good presenter for it.

I like Anton too. He's a great ballroom dancer & the people I know who have met and worked with him say he's lovely and particularly good at teaching kids to dance.

Antons fab, I saw his and Erins show about a year ago and it was amazing. I love Claudia as well. She has always been extremely entertaining.

I thought Anton's racist comment to be a non issue tbh - and I say that as a mother of a mixed race child.
