Got a 3yo and 10 yo that were happily braaaaaaainsing round the house earlier.

this morning my dd4 (who is 4 years old), was watching nerdy nummies on youtube (geekery meets cakes). I sked which one they were watching.

ps, they love anything to do with brains atm. and dd1 (who is 13) was there as well

Don't get me wrong, I'm a zombie fan. Love the Walking Dead and recently Warm Bodies is one of my favourite films along with Shaun of the Dead.

To me they are an adult thing though, violent & gory. Because I have never seen this new fangled game. So will concede IABU!!

I wouldn't buy this for my kids.

YANBU. The seriousness of zombies should not be trivialised. Because come the zombie apocalypse we will be unprepared (off to see whether Plants Vs Zombies is free).

Plants Vs Zombies IS free and it's a fun little game IMO. I got DH into it.
Maybe you should have a play of it OP, you might like it :)

Dd would love that skull lamp,currently in a HP obsession(has a drawer full of rubber rats,bats and eyeballs for her spells).Maybe PvZ is where it all started.

DD is just 9 and loves that game which does make me cringe a bit but tbh it's no worse than an episode of Scooby Doo (and the theme tune is hilarious).

We're quite a strait laced Christian household, but even I would buy that. Plants vs Zombies is funny and ds2 loves it (he's even more strait laced than us).

Last Christmas I bought him some Plants vs Zombies soft toys.

OMG, my 5yo would love that.

DP let him play the game on his phone about a year and a half ago - he was hooked. It's not graphic at all - the brains thing is played for laughs. He's always nicking my phone to play it now. Last I looked his zombie kill total is 27,000 something.

I was mortified when I later realised it's actually rated 12, but I don't think it's bad at all - I've seen games and films rated 6/PG which I think are less appropriate.
