I think you might have lost an 'n'. Which is better than marbles, I guess...

'Date Night'? Vom, just vom... The idea of having to timetable an excuse for shagging is just hideous

Sparklingbrook · 04/10/2013 22:22

I think it's time for again. No nudity-don't panic.

ChaosTrulyReigns · 04/10/2013 22:23

ManAlive, LaQ, do you watch Gavin And Stacey?

SIOB!

Sadly dh does not do role play, pilots or otherwise.

Occasionally he does 'animated husband' impressions.

TotemPole · 04/10/2013 22:28

It isn't just about sex is it? I thought it was a way for a couple to allocate some time to spend together.

Sparklingbrook · 04/10/2013 22:28

I found out this week that SIOB can mean-

Sort it out bitch or
Sharp intake of breath.

"The only way the word date should be used is as in:

What is the date?"

Ohhh no - what am I supposed to call my date, walnut and banana loaf, then? Confused

EugenesAxe · 04/10/2013 22:40

YANBU. I have loads of FB friends that post about their date nights. Not my thing. They are all friends that have done things like cutsie newborn photoshoots or those ones where you make a heart with your hand on your bump. Bleerrrrgh.

YANBU.

Just awful/ridiculous.

idiuntno57 · 04/10/2013 22:55

YABU 'date night' is waaaaaay more icky than play date. And also rather unpleasantly forcing one to think of middle aged gimmers like my friends and I actually copulating. For pleasure. bleuuuurggghhh

CheapBread · 04/10/2013 23:06

Yanbu.

Laughing at these replies.
There seems to be a 'them and us' thing going on with lovely dovey shit as EugenesAxe's Facebook feed shows.
