To have given DS (2) a bit of a crap tea?

Massively busy day at work today, stock take plus loads of customers. I got home and DP had to go to work. DP says DS has eaten well during the day so I gave him a slice of malt loaf, apple and banana for his tea.

I now feel guilty it wasn't a proper cooked meal. I had planned fish, new potatoes and veg. I just know though if I'd have gone to the effort to cook it he probably wouldn't have eaten it as he never eats that well at dinner and he had eaten well in the day.

I have a photograph of DD scoffing a saveloy, chips and ketchup aged four following her first morning in reception class. She is wearing her little checked dress and looks like a vampire. She'd never had such a lunch in her life but exceptions need to be made sometimes!
