Was due to meet someone for a date tonight.
He has cancelled as he feels the 11 mile distance between our homes is just too far, and it would be impossible to see each other regularly...
My reaction to this was laughter, 11 miles?! I know people who have to travel further than that just to buy a paper and a pint of milk!
I have simply filed it in my 'lame dating excuses' folder, along with (far too) many others.
And people wonder why I'm single
