To think tuxedos and bow ties look ridiculous.

DH is watching Iron Man.
I just looked up and they are at some ball. I just decided that tuxedos, bow ties and wing collar shirts are bloody ridiculous.

A sharp suit, crisp tie and nicely pressed shirt are much more smart.

I was out & about in town today meeting friends & generally mooching around. We stumbled across a free kids art event so spent the afternoon there. Noticed a few kids in head to toe Ralf Lauren with bow ties, they looked like mini tories/ Boris Johnsons. Floppy blonds hair, yellow bow ties, pale blue shirt, silver grey checked tweed jacket, cords & brown brogues. I did a double take when the dad turned up in identical RL gear.

Then I startes to notice how out of place we looked amongst this group of people. Most mumsv& kids in head to toe Boden & Joules and the dads had on those black framed specs with jeans & jacket. They were a tribe in identical clothimg & glasses with kids called Otilly & Rufus. All a bit scary......

I think some men look fab in dinner jackets and bow ties. Can't see why it would actually bother anyone. They are no longer really like the 20s ones, most are just like normal black suits now with sometimes a bit more detail!
