To think that the West is helping arm these people!

I am horrified by this picture. This little girl has to live this trauma.

Link I used to see what OP is talking about. (Not DM.)

according to other info re this on the net it dates from June, and although this in no way mitigates the horror, (if it's genuine) then the freepatriots have been a bit slow to publish....

SecretWitch · 22/09/2013 14:45

The freepatriot movement within the US has an anti Obama agenda. Clearly, something traumatic occurred to that baby but I do not trust the linked website to give the actual genesis of the picture or correct story behind it.

It's very difficult to know for sure what is happening in that picture. The same image on other websites simply state that the girl was being arrested for her beliefs.
Obviously she is very upset and yes that is hard to look at but images can be used out of context to say whatever people want them to. There is no evidence that I could find that either corroborates or disproves either version of events. Hmm

So now I know that the Syrian army gas children and the Syrian rebels force children to watch their parents die. Shitty time to be a Syrian.Sad

What is it that you think I should do with this knowledge OP?Confused

MadAsFish · 22/09/2013 15:43

The problem I have with this is it's an image having meanings grafted onto it, none of which can be verified in any way.
All we have is this single picture. So, there's a small girl, looking very unhappy, chained to a fence. How old is the picture? Who took it? Where were they? What was happening? We don't have answers to any of these questions, just people telling us things.
