to wonder what Russell Brand has on the Guardian

In today's Guardian he was given a page and a half to waffle on about what happened at the GQ awards (his comments about Hugo Boss). (sorry no link, doing this on my phone). I can't remember when anyone, let alone an attention-seeking nitwit like RB, was given this much space and was wondering if anyone thought the same.

The point of what Brand did, Manchester and Haloo, in bith his soeech and then his article, was to draw attention to the fact that Boris Johnson was making tasteless jokes about Syria. His point was not about the dubious past of Hugo Boss, he merely used it to illustrate the hypocrisy of the people there, knowing they would be disgusted by him bringing it up, yet laughing at jokes about gassed children.

But I have pointed that out already.

It is clearly not about Hugo Boss being a nazi, and people are being really dense moaning about RB for that.

Both his speech, not bith his soeech! My eyesight is shit at the mo, please excuse my typos.

I thought he was just reacting to the absurdity of the entire event. He often seems to find the concept of fame and celebrity fascinating, and I think he was a bit weirded out by the inclusion of politicians in the "glamour" of the whole ridiculous charade.

I DO think he is very clever and can be very funny.
However if he thought so little of the award then, surely, he should have just refused it?

He says in his article, he attended to publicise his new tour.

Richard Littlejohn hailed as a good writer?

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha

I have now seen it all.

I'm not sure smearing a rag with his own bile saturated faeces counts as writing...

Oh my god.... Richard Littlejohn, a great writer? Ha ha ha ha!
