I'm not a parent not British?

I do enjoy PG Tips and Doctor Who though.

YANBU.

PG tips could go either way though Wink

Welcome to the nest of vipers.

WorraLiberty · 11/09/2013 01:41

You're one of many

What makes you think you might be unreasonable?

SomeTeaPlease · 11/09/2013 02:27

Glad I'm not as strange as I once thought.

mypavlova · 11/09/2013 02:33

yanbu though of you hang around enough the children part might become contagious.

SomeTeaPlease · 11/09/2013 03:19

I definitely want children at some point! I'm only 20 and I think it will take about 6-7 more years to finish my desired degree so no children until after that most likely.

Yorkshire tea is far better than pg tips, btw.

TheFallenNinja · 11/09/2013 04:37

There's all sorts on here, you'll fit right in.

urtwistingmymelonman · 11/09/2013 06:14

yabVu for liking pg tips.
tetly all the way for me.

giraffescantdanceallnight · 11/09/2013 06:23

yanbu

ilovecolinfirth · 11/09/2013 06:41

Yorkshire tea is the way to go! :)

SomeTeaPlease · 11/09/2013 07:06

We have some Tetly, I think. It's good! I particularly like fruity green teas and sweet teas such as chai.

I just like tea!

I haven't ever seen Yorkshire tea in my area, but I'll keep an eye out.

TalcAndTurnips · 11/09/2013 07:09

Oh yes colin - I like Yorkshire tea. And I'm a soft southern shite, too.

SomeTeaPlease - you do realise that you will be judged for your choice of favourite Doctor - there is quite a divide amongst those who favour Mr Smith and those who wished to bear the children of Mr Tennant.

I'm afraid there will only ever be Pertwee as far as I'm concerned. He wore a purple-lined cloak and ruffly shirts, for goodness' sake. And drove around in this.

He was a righteous dude.

Catsize · 11/09/2013 07:14

Welcome. Apart from the PG Tips thing. Euch!

HoneyDragon · 11/09/2013 07:17

I hate Tea

Plenty of non parent and non uk types here, and even if there weren't you'd still be very welcome. Smile

LeoTheLateBloomer · 11/09/2013 07:19

YABUtterlyU to be drinking anything other than Earl Grey or peppermint.

Other than that rather large indiscretion, welcome. What brought you to the nest?

urtwistingmymelonman · 11/09/2013 07:42

tom baker lived a few miles from where I live and my parents drank in the same pub as him. used to see him about occasionally and he wore exactly the same clothes as he did as the doctor!

canweseethebunnies · 11/09/2013 08:18

There seem to be quite a few non-parents on here, which is great, but can I just ask what made you join?

It would never have occurred to me to join a parenting website before I was a parent! Hope IANBU with this question!

ConfusedPixie · 11/09/2013 08:31

Yanbu. I'm childless and joined when I was 19 :) there are loads of us on here, loads on non-brits too!

Callmedreckly · 11/09/2013 08:35

I joined pre-children & you will need coffee to keep you awake at night when you become addicted more interested in how a thread is going! Grin

TeaMakesItAllPossible · 11/09/2013 08:36

YANBU except with the tea. It has to be Yorkshire tea, and I'm a Lancashire lass.

Mmmmm tea.

ToysRLuv · 11/09/2013 09:12

I don't drink tea. It's like muddy water Will I be chucked out?

PomBearWithAnOFRS · 11/09/2013 09:19

Tom Baker for the Doctor! child of the 70s that I am and Yorkshire Tea when we can afford it and Aldi round Red Label when we can't Grin

GingerBlackAndOriental · 11/09/2013 09:35

I always wondered why it would occur to a non-parent to join a parenting website, anyone?

Where did they hear about it and why did they join?

Only because it would never have crossed my mind before I had a kid!

GingerBlackAndOriental · 11/09/2013 09:36

Oh and welcome Flowers

Yorkshire tea is the way forward Grin

LRDMaguliYaPomochTebeSRaboti · 11/09/2013 09:57

ginger - I got dragged in laughing at AIBU when a parent mate pointed me to it. She didn't stick around AFAIK but I did. I would like to have children, as well, so I gravitate towards it.
