Or am I an old dinosaur who won't move with the times?

I've seen countless posts and thread titles with the abbreviation n instead of and recently.

I just want to say that I CAN'T STAND IT!!! but I know a lot of you will feel that Mumsnet needs to get with it.

Aibu to feel old decrepit?

I've never heard of 'mom' being used in the Midlands, and I have family in Shrewsbury. They seem to pronounce it 'murm', is that written mom?

I didn't mean the Americans and Canadians. I thought perhaps it was another Americanism slipping in.

(Totaly understand mam btw, living in Wales)

Well I've learned something new today! Thought most English people said mum. Apologies!
