My DH of 20 years and I had a 'sexathon' today as we were, unusually, both at home alone as our DC were at college, school and nursery and DH had an unexpected day off. Our sex life goes through periodic droughts due to teenage DD never going to bloody bed, so today we made the most of it!

After 4 hours of rampant sex, I am now in quite a state of discomfort with stomach cramps and back pain. I have just Blush remembered that I have a vaginal pessary in due to a mild womb prolapse and I am now worried that the pessary may have been pushed somewhere it should'nt be Shock. DH is rather well endowed and very excited today and out of the many positions we were in, him being behind me was quite, ahem, fulfilling for him.

He is obviously a little worried that I am in pain as I am but says that it can't possibly be due to the pessary being knocked out of kilter. I am worried that it may be a problem.

I can hardly walk into A&E to get checked out and tell them about our escapades of this afternoon Blush. I am an upstanding (well now I am) mother of 4. Do you think they would accept it if I tell them that have been to an extreme spin class? What to do??

Sounds like the onset of nasty cystitis. I had a bout that felt like that, really dull achy pain down where I imagine my cervix is. It got worse not better so if you can get to the gp for a wee sample ASAP that would be a good idea. Vigorous sex can definitely bring it on, especially if you haven't had much recently! I used to have a ldr with my XH and I always ended up with cystitis! Mild doses will clear up on their own but that sounds more than mild.

I think overly large todgers are over-rated and that owners should have some sort of license or insurance to cover them. I have experience of one particularly nasty beast - it was like having a whole person up inside me - horrible, no friction, really uncomfortable. The only benefit I can see is that it widens the birth canal prior to giving birth.
