To think porridge is a man breakfast.

DH insists all breakfast cereals are girly food.
I suggested porridge as an alternative cos I consider that a manly food ( I don't know why, maybe it conjures up images of hardy Scotsmen).
Anyway, he disagrees and thinks it's as girly as fruit and fibre or special K.
Opinions? or am I being odd to think of breakfast in these terms? It's only cereals that I divide along gender lines btw before I get accused of agreeing with the Muller yoghurt ridiculousness and I always have porridge!

I would recommend not standing on crumpets. You'll have a devil of a job getting the butter stains out of the carpet.

My DH has porridge ever day. Last time I checked, he still had a penis.

Do we need to swap roles? Do we need gender reassignment surgery

No, you'll probably be ok if you swap breakfasts. But go easy on the walnuts....

Is that how you got your NN, stubborn? Wink

And arsetits. Seems I'll have to give up those, as well as the porridge. I'll just have to go forage some blackberries on the way to work.

My DH is a hardy Scotsman. Porridge gives him the boak.

It started with photographic chemicals, but to be honest, I am supremely gifted at pretty much any kind of stain known to humanity. Except for crumpet stains, because, as any fule kno, they go in your mouth Grin

yes it is a daft way to think

saying that advertising is the reason a strong man on the packet of porridge is the most recognisable brand, ready brek was always a glowing boy, special k always a woman enjoying a bowl sadly these adverts influence us and we do not even recognise that

is he saying cereal is girly because he actually just does not like cereals?

I think he's saying cereals are girly because they conjure up images of women prancing around villas eating their special k so they can look lovely in their bikinis.
That's what I think tbh. as Freudian says, it's obviously the power of advertising.
Quiche is also a bit girly apparently.
Obviously all meats are manly ( except a grilled skinless chicken breast.)
the manliest of meats are oxtail.

I suggest black pudding as a 'manly' breakfast.
Refuse to let him ever eat a croissant again coz it's girl food.

eastwick you are quite right. Black pudding with tabasco sauce is a manly breakfast.

Meat is manly, is it? I think you need to get a couple of biscuit cutters - flower & heart shape should do it.

Then tomorrow morning, make a couple of bacon butties & cut them into pretty shapes for a lovely genderfuck Sunday brunch.
