I hate the winter .Snow, wet windy cold weather.

Why does people look forward to autumn/winter.

Winter is very bleak.

It's not to late for summer to come back. Pretty please!

(going to end up taking another 10-15 mins to get out of the house by layering up wriggly baby and toddler). Also I need to find socks as I have to wear boots not sandals.

I find the novelty of winter clothing is gone in a week. The next 6 months drag.

And don't mention that C word. Blooming mid-winter festival of commercialism and over-hype. We now have to endure quarter of the year with people counting down how many blooming sleeps there are. Ba Humbug. Hmph.

I have loved every minute of this summer! We have camped, ridden our bikes down endless country lanes, swam in lakes and seas, played in the garden, eaten in the garden, got tanned and thin(ner) and generally had a blast.

I'm not feeling the usual Autumnal thrill, in fact I feel slightly down. Summer just ended so abruptly!

Dark mornings make me depressed.
Dark evenings stop me running and make me worry about DC's cycling from work in the dark.
Washing is a nightmare to get dry (won't use a tumble dryer for financial and environmental reasons).
Can't stand being swaddled in layers of clothes and footwear.
Worry about cost of heating the house and artificial heating and lighting makes me feel sluggish and nauseous. Crazy but true.
What a miserable cow.
