To wonder if anyone else thinks Mr Gove is a disgrace

For ranting at and calling all those in the party who voted against Syria a disgrace. Go Justine (well she didn't know the vote was on ROFL), Hammond, Clarke and many others (BOWS).

Dons flak jacket but doesn't give a hoot.

Suburban, just had to share that clip with a few teacher friends. Cheered me right up at the end of the holidays. Thanks Grin

Suzieismyname · 31/08/2013 21:23

Suburban, this is the best YouTube clip ever

Spikeytree · 31/08/2013 21:24

Apparently quite a lot of Conservatives find the thought less worrying than some of us Gove draws level with Boris

Crumbledwalnuts · 31/08/2013 21:25

I'm not sure I'd go for Gove, though he is terrific in what he does. I quite like the idea of Philip Hammond.

KatyPutTheCuttleOn · 31/08/2013 21:27
another one...
BoneyBackJefferson · 31/08/2013 21:28

OP YABU for not knowing this earlier

Moondog = goady

Dawndonnaagain · 31/08/2013 21:29

I quite like the idea of Gove as party leader, I honestly think that fewer people would vote for the smarmy idiot, ergo Tories gone!

Bowlersarm · 31/08/2013 21:30

Oh FFS. More Tory bashing.

KatyPutTheCuttleOn · 31/08/2013 21:31

Grin He certainly would stop me voting for them in his current job never mind as PM.

Spikeytree · 31/08/2013 21:33

Yes, Bowlersarm. Got to have some fun at the end of the holidays.

Crumbledwalnuts · 31/08/2013 21:33

Lol at Moondog being "goady" on a goady old thread like this. Do we not like freedom of speech in the Tory-bashing banter crew? Is it considered goady simply to disagree with these deeply considered and supremely articulated snippets of badinage?

ravenAK · 31/08/2013 21:35

Michael Gove losing it over this was definitely one of the highlights of my summer hols.

YANBU, OP, but as everyone else says - Slithy Gove has been a disgrace for quite some time now - do try to pay attention at the back! Wink.

RainbowCake · 31/08/2013 21:38

I'm not so much Tory bashing as fantasising about bashing his smug face on the portable classrooms that have had to be brought into my son's school as funding for improvements/extension was withdrawn.

Crumbledwalnuts · 31/08/2013 21:42

Our local primary had temporary classrooms for a long time because of a wave of sudden migration under Labour. Much of the funding needed is because of the bulge caused by that sudden wave of migration (under Labour).

Marshy · 31/08/2013 21:42

Just had to join this thread to say how much I despise Gove, though missed his Syria rant. Just as well as wouldn't have been good for my blood pressure by the sound of it

BoneyBackJefferson · 31/08/2013 21:52

Yay, I have made it in to a crew :)

TBH, I will "bash" gove as much I possibly can.

HTH

noblegiraffe · 31/08/2013 22:07

Oh god that falling over video has made my night. Certainly bears a repeat viewing or five

Crumbledwalnuts · 31/08/2013 22:12

You must be so proud boney :)

ravenAK · 31/08/2013 22:24

Marshy - it would've been great for your BP. He looked utterly ridiculous. Did me a power of good Grin.

After you with the squeaky blow up hammer, Boney!

neverputasockinatoaster · 31/08/2013 23:52

Gove is an arse.

In fact I will go so far as to say that he is an arse badger.

Alisvolatpropiis · 31/08/2013 23:53

Surely everybody?

He's a fucking fool.

GiraffesAndButterflies · 01/09/2013 00:00

I can understand/forgive many flaws in a politician, but one thing that deeply annoys me is the 'all the evidence points to A, but I've chosen B, so fuck you' camp. Not restricted to any particular political stripe; Tony Blair was a prime example.

Agree. Gove is determined to do things that the majority of experts and stakeholders think are terrible ideas, simply because he wants to. His breathtaking arrogance is ruining our education system.

Caoilainn · 01/09/2013 00:01

What constituency does he have? He is a fuckwitty, twunt, of a wankbadger if I've ever seen one.

How he has enough power to project his wankstain ideas onto the general populace I have no idea.

Ed Ball was fucking bad, least he contained himself to opening schools we can't afford.

Bloody Gove is rubbing his trousers over the farce he has made of education and trying to prolong it.

Boris is an idiot with charm, Gove is an idiot.

Crumbledwalnuts · 01/09/2013 00:02

Unfortunately most of the experts and stakeholders have been doing a pretty bad job of it over the years. Not surprising they disagree with him. They're being unclothed.

flumposie · 01/09/2013 00:03

I loathe this odious man
