To double check with you all...C25k Wk5 r2....20 minutes? REALLY?!!

Run 1 was 2 x 8 min runs
Run 3 looks like a combo of 8/5 minute runs

So wtf is this 20 minutes business?! A mistake or the horrible truth?!

I've just completed week 9 of the NHS C25K - first 20 min run was a challenge I found but once you've done it you feel a real sense of achievement (well once you finish panting).

Yes, you can do it. I did the c25k this year again and remember the week with the 3 x5 minute intervals nearly killing me. It seems impossible but you can do the 20 mins in week 5. I am nearly 50 and overweight and if I can do it, you can!

If you dig around the c25k threads you will probably find my post from a couple of months ago asking if that w5 run was correct!!! I got the same answers as you ;-)
The buzz is amazing once you've done it isn't it. You will be at wk 9 before you know it. I also used Get Running - fantastic c25k app and best couple of pounds I have ever spent!
