No one wants to see your nekkid silohuette or your turkey pan soaking.

True.

And opaque glass (i know, I know) looks like a strangeness on the front.

The house I lived in from 11 to 19 had a front facing downstairs bathroom/toilet! yuk!!! hated it.

I have always lived in houses with the kitchen at the back so it is what i am used to and prefer.
Kitchen at the back is better for bbq's and kids coming in from the garden muddy. My bathroom runs along the side of the house which is fine but i am not dure i would like to have it at the front as everyone would be able to see at least your outline when showering or sitting on the loo.

YABU, exclusively because I just spent a good two minutes trying to work out what bathroom activity "turkey pan soaking" could be a euphemism for. Blush

cantspel as I have said before, it depends on the size of the house, and the size of the front garden. The house I grew up in have the playroom back onto the garden, and the laundry runs off the playroom. There is also a shower room next to the laundry. No problem with muddy shoes just because the kitchen doesn't open up to the garden. Use your imagination beyond your own houses!

We didn't have the bathroom towards the front, but it's upstairs. We had blinds in the bathrooms. You just close them before you shower. cantspel are your bathrooms all downstairs facing the fence on the side of the house? Do you know your neighbours can see the back of the house both upstairs and downstairs? And if it's upstairs on the side, is it facing a blank wall? So then people can still see your silouhette in the bathroom at night if you don't use blinds! Or you aren't worried about neighbours seeing your outline?

I mean most neighbours. But maybe you don't have overlooking neighbours behind your house Grin. We do though here!
