He currently has a voice that hoes really deep then really high pitched into a squeak.

He isn't talking as much and I'm quite enjoying it! No running commentary, no shouting mum over and over just to say hi when I'm in the same room as him, no jokes been told etc

So AIBU to be enjoying this?

I have been giving medicine as he does have a cough too but hes ok in his self just his voice.

Hah! You'll probably have some miserable git telling you you are a bad person for enjoying the peace. You aren't! I have fond memories of two days in 2010 where ds lost his voice. Doesn't mean I didn't talk to him, care for him, medicate him and get him better ASAP! But yeah, it was a bit nice Grin

There's nothing more wearing than a toddlers constant chattering and you having to be peppy mummy whilst throwing in sarcastic comments under your breath. Enjoy.

Its the running commentary all day about every thing things he is doing and him wanting me to 'wisten' to him and watch him.

I'm enjoying not having that. Its not like I am having him shout so voice goes quicker as tempting as that is Grin
