We have two hanging around by our back door, they're massive and terrifying and I'm allergic to wasp stings. Is my epi pen proof against these bastards? And how do I kill them without getting close?

I need them gone!

Wow I didn't read that far before I got freaked out by the thought of giant hornets that kill 30-40 people a year in Japan crosses Japan off my wishlist of places to visit!

The lad was obviously very shaken but remarkably calm. He'd slipped down a steep bank in woods, rolled all the way down it and landed right in the wasps nest. Makes me shudder just to think of it!
