I am sat eating a cooplands sausage roll and they are so much nicer than Greggs ones.

Greggs are so watery and nasty tasting where as cooplands are meatier and tastier.

Did I mention you can get 4 for £1 in cooplands? yes I bought 4 and will eat them all

Anyone agree?

never heard of Ainsleys either

What's a Coopland. I love a Greggs sausage roll, or a pasty or a pizza bread. I'm not fussy.

Like cooplands but we have a Waterfields two doors away from my front door !!!!

AWimbaWay · 22/08/2013 20:36

They have a website. I've just checked to see if there is one near me, I do like a greggs steakbake nice pastry. I'm in Harrogate, cooplands only go as far as Leeds, so near yet so far.

EnglishGirlApproximately · 22/08/2013 20:41

Cooplands is way better than Greggs and their Latte is 10p cheaper. And you only have to buy 5 to get a free one - its 9 in Greggs!

Cooplands date slices are lush too, and the cheese straws. Although today one of my colleagues described Greggs new Caramel Pecan biscuit as 'the best 75p I've ever spent'Grin

Can you tell I'm on a diet and can't have any if this stuff? Blush

But 4 sausage rolls for £1! How much are 4 in Greggs?

I used to like Greggs til they changed the ingredients to 90% water

Thomas's cheese and onion pasties are the best. We in the North are much blessed with bakeries Grin

EnglishGirlApproximately · 22/08/2013 20:54

Just looked at the Cooplands website - they have a Bap Van Shock

SPsTotallyMullerFuckingLicious · 22/08/2013 20:55

Are they only in Leeds then?

No I'm in Nottingham. Moving jobs soon and no bakery nearby, wonder if I can get the Bap Van to come?

jamdonut · 22/08/2013 21:39

We have a Cooplands in Bridlington, and a Thomas's and 2 Gregg's.

I like Thomas's best. But I think it is a bit more expensive. One of the Greggs is practically on my doorstep.

AwkwardSquad · 22/08/2013 21:56

No, they're in North Yorkshire and North East too. I think they were originally Scarborough-based. The apple pasties are a bargain, two for 79 pence.
