To refuse to store step in law brothers stuff in our house

I am probably being unreasonable on this one. I started another thread when step in law brothers dad died and he approached us for £1400 which he promised to pay back even though he is on job seekers after not turning up to a job I offered him as he was busy smoking dope. He eventually got the funeral money off deceaseds sister and then spent it on a caravan. He has just been kicked out of the council house his dad rented and is now in a hostel. Now he wants to store his stuff in our house. Husband wants to but I am not having any of it. I lost the particular contract I gave him a job on and his behaviour contributed to this and cost me money. I have told husband I will think about it. What do you think?

YANBU.
Well I wouldn't. (But I am a caaaaah)
It would be there for ever, gently mouldering and getting increasingly smelly (especially if it involves cheese) and it would always be in your way.

Just to clarify the £1400 loan was supposed to be for funeral expenses and we were told if we did not pay up the body would be thrown in the hospital incinerator without a funeral. This really angered me especially as I checked with the hospital and they would never do this

Of course hospitals don't do this. Ridiculous!

Why can't he put the stuff in his caravan?
