I am a self confessed Honey Boo Boo addict. I am watching it now as I record it so I can never miss it. Yes, I love it that much.

Anyway Mama June and Sugar Bear seem to have a great relationship and so much love for one another and the children.

I just saw her trying on a dress for the wedding commitment ceremony and I thought It was lovely.

They seem like a happy and funny family.

Anyone else going to admit this?

Thanks will have to find out

AaDB · 20/08/2013 23:58

I love that they have pet names. I wonder how and when Sugar Bear got his name?

Alana is 7. It made me laugh when she wore false teeth for her pagents. Her adult teeth make her her look much older.

I didn't really understand what the stockpiling was until I watched Extreme Couponing (also on TLC). It is mad to have so much of the same thing.Confused

Please can somebody tell me why they wash their hair in the kitchen sink. I think they have two bathrooms. I should think they could have a shower in one of them? Even if they don't, why not wash their hairy over the bath? I'm puzzled.

I confess im an addict too Grin

PenguinBear · 21/08/2013 01:02

Not read every single post so not sure if anyone feels the same but do you not find it all a but 'shouty'?

It just feels too chaotic, loud and out of control. I do watch it sometimes but it's just very 'roar' especially when they had that awful screeching pigConfused.

I watch loads of other shows on TLC, maybe it will grow on me!

I love it, there's so much love there. The pig stressed me out, thank god it's gone.

I love the expressions on the new baby's face and the way she is involved in everything they do.

I like it when the camera man interacts with them, very funny.

Lighthousekeeping · 21/08/2013 01:09

Ha! When I wrote about this show when it very first came out I was given a right good talking to saying how dare I watch a show that exploits and makes fun of this family. I'm glad to see that some of you have actually watched it and love it as much as I do.

thornrose · 21/08/2013 01:10

I'm looking forward to the new show about the "posh" trailer park Blush

Sparklymommy · 21/08/2013 08:28

I love it! Alana is such an interesting child and June obviously wants the best for her children. So nice to see a family that clearly love each other so much. I do agree that June has some deep seated issues that I really hope someone picks up on and helps her to deal with. Such a refreshing family show!

valiumredhead · 21/08/2013 08:49

I had to stop watching after fork lift foot was revealed, yuck.

EstelleGetty · 21/08/2013 08:54

I love it. They are such a funny, loving family.

And I just want to pick Alana up and give her a big squoosh, she's adorable! She reminds me of my wee sister.

YeahBuddy · 21/08/2013 08:56

I LOVE this show! Especially all the little one-liners Alana comes out with.
'I gotta get this Boo Boo in a tutu' is particular favourite Grin

nearlyemptynester · 21/08/2013 08:59

Wheresmycaffeinedrip · 21/08/2013 09:42

Their hygiene does leave alot to be desired though. And do the kids go to school because its never mentioned :o

thornrose · 21/08/2013 09:44

I block out the "bad" stuff Grin

badbride · 21/08/2013 09:46

Urgh. Bloody awful programme. But then so is all reality TV: stupid boring TV producers following stupid boring people around with cameras while they say/do stupid boring things in Georgia/ California/ Essex/ Chelsea/ Newcastle etc. What's the point? [curmudgeon icon]

Honey Boo Boo is, however, marginally less ghastly than those Kardashian harridans. I'll give you that. Grin

thornrose · 21/08/2013 09:47

Oh damn, why did you put this in AIBU OP?

SPsTotallyMullerFuckingLicious · 21/08/2013 09:51

Thorn Because I wasn't sure been a Honey Boo Boo fan was a good thing. Which is why the title asks the question. So far it seems either I am not UR or all of us here are Grin

Cant deal with The Kardashians. Have you seen Kims crying faces? Grin
