AIBU to be creeped out by this toilet seat?

Hi everyone, this is my first AIBU so please go gently on me!

Recently our toilet seat has broken and needs to be replaced. I've been looking online for toilet seats (would prefer a patterned one - our current one has picture of fish on it).

Anyway I thought I'd have a quick squiz at the toilet seat selection on Tesco and have found this:

OMG, I've still got that page up and am convinced it won't stop staring at me (with it's black souless eyes)!

Does anyone else think it looks creepy (or is just me - probably is, LOL).

Disclaimer - doesn't help in the creepiness factor that I've been slowly reading through an old creepy things that happened to you' type thread on MN.

Thanks TheFantasticFixit, that's very kind of you (gracefully accepts wine and flowers, LOL). I'll admit I felt a bit upset by what Sanctimummy wrote (by the way, please fuck off Sanctimummy). But I've lurked for some time now and realise that you are right - most posters are not like that. It does make you wonder though how little interesting things are going on in that posters life if they feel the need to make comments like that to make themselves feel better.

DrDance - that's fair enough, each to their own. Admittedly the fish toilet seat was a wedding present (we'd originally asked for a penguin one but the shop was out of stock hence we received the fish one). I agree with you about the barbed wire ones - I can see the humour but wouldn't want one myself.

Now, I am almost never scared or freaked out by things but that really is something else! I'd have bowel and bladder trouble in no time due to fear of going anywhere near that.

HandOfGlory, how on earth do you find such weird loo seats ;) ? They are really tastless and would harbour germs galore lol.

I used to have one of those clear toilet seats with barbed wire inside... Living on the edge!!!!!

Haggisfish - didn't even think of that! Would be too scared to go into the bathroom at night (imagines going in with hand over eyes and other hand feeling out in front of her).

MortifiedAdams - now that is a seat I want (it's bloody cool). Not sure DH would though (boo, hiss). (Although he might if it had Hedwig on it).

I thought the creepy eye loo seat was hideous but having since seen the even creepier clown seat I don't find it quite as bad.

I am going to buy the glowing the dark loo seat.

I would just like one that fits on the loo properly. I'm sure dh has done it wrong but he says the seat is the wrong size....hmmmm.
