Ronnie Biggs.

(My dog walking friend's old deerhound X).

BuntyCollocks · 16/08/2013 21:54

Brian.
Pat (Pat the dog - see what I did there?)
Doug (only works if you're very broad scots - doug the dug)

GruffBillyGoat · 16/08/2013 22:48

Whatever you call it, find out what it means first. Ours Kali (goddess of darkness and destruction) and Kaos have done everything in their power to live up to the names. Infact Kaos (actually a cat, but we have given up trying to explain that point) just ran through the house trailing our toilet paper behind him, he thinks he is the fucking rolly dog.

Anyway ignoring my own advice I always liked the name Kujo.

GruffBillyGoat · 16/08/2013 22:49

Oh god I look like a Kardashian, I swear it was not on purpose we have had plenty of pets who's names don't start with K.

Our choc lab is called Bob, named by our 7 year old DS2, and it's perfect for him.

We did talk of getting another dog, my DCs wanted to call Marley, but I told them there was no way I was standing in a field shouting 'Bob, Marley !'

skyflyer · 17/08/2013 03:39

My friend has two dogs called Nigel & Colin. She just did it for the laugh she gets when she calls them in the park.

MrsWedgeAntilles · 17/08/2013 08:00

I've always really wanted a dog called Pat but I can't as I have a close relative called that.
Apart from that I know a fabulous, slightly roguish dog called Spanner.

When I get some dogs and I will I want a Kenai and Koda. The names from the film Brother Bear.
