Ugh. We are in hols and just ordered two pizzas for me dh and dds.
I picked via the description imagining that chitallins are some kind if olive or vegetable.
Well it tasted and smelled like a farmyard and on further investigation I have discovered the bike truth.
They are lovely slices if pig intestines!

While I know that the OP wanted a lighthearted thread, the fact is that many sausage skins are made from pigs intestines anyway, not all, but certainly a good percentage of them.

YABU I am afraid. One thing I learned in Abroad is always to ask if you are not sure! My (reasonably good) french deserted me once while we were and what I thought was going to be a turkey something was actually a Tuna something :o
