To want to paint the living room pink

I can see it in my mind.... A dusky pink, kind of dark. Not pale or salmon. There will be a name for it I'm sure Grin

I have had sage green, which I love, but it's time for a change.

My DH was horrified when I suggested pink, I don't think he has as good an imagination as me...

So in the absence of paint charts etc, can anyone help me with what to show him tonight?

(Actually the inner lips of my, no, no not thatGrin)

Berry Smoothie is looking close!

Our living room is flooded with light and two walls are almost non existent - large window and door dominating one and another glass door and tv gubbins taking up another.

So although the space isn't huge, I think we could get away with a big splash of colour.
Thanks for some excellent ideas.

I knew someone who had raspberry and cream in their frontroom, I loved it. Looked really lovely. Mainly cream with one wall raspberry with matching sofas.

Ok so I think you want Dulux Heritage Mineral Red. I have this in my hall up to the landing. Its got a lot of earth colour in it , but its definitely pink: here

Its a darker colour than the others are talking about, but it looks great with pictures on it. I must say it also looks great with other colours with some earth tones in. I have artichoke green colour in the bedroom, and some other earthy tones in the other bedrooms, and when you look through the door it all matches nicely. I also have a bright yellow dining room (but still with earthy tones) and that goes well too.
