Do you have plastic turf? Hovering would then make sense. They say AstroTurf is more ecofriendly, but I don't see how. If you don't water or fertilize, grass or grass like substance seems best.

My neighbor used to Hoover the lawn for 45 mins twice a week. He'd then drag his ancient tv out the back door and watch Emmerdale at full volume in his garden.

You will have to do that at midnight in case anyone sees you... I doubt hoovering will get all the glass in the grass.

My cousin has an astro turf lawn and he can vacuum that.

I've vacuumed up glass, although not from the lawn. It's never broken my hoover. Which is actually a Dyson.

Not sure. I've hoovered glass before but only little bits. Is it big bits? Could you rake it up then use a small dustpan or something?

I'm thinking the moisture from the lawn and soil would cause problems more than the glass. I see your dilemma though. Could you borrow a garden vac?

No not big bits have got rid of all of those, it's shattered windscreen style. And left lots of little sharp bits Hoover is a dyson so may try it.

Not too late, and it's hardly going to be that noisy. Neighbours would be just in complaining about a rave, but a spot of hoovering? I would think my neighbours very odd (and ignore them) if they said I couldn't Hoover lest it waken pfb.

I used to hoover the patio (sand) with a portable black and decker hoover thing - sandpit. If you've had rain today I wouldn't tbh. Rake the worst off and then hand pick the rest and make sure the dc wear shoes for a few weeks.

My next door neighbour has a garden vacuum - he hoovers at 7am on a Sunday morning. This annoys me.
