Where did you get that information? Lovely name btw Grin

RatUpADrainpipe · 24/07/2013 18:31

At least my Luis got a look in, even though it is only third!

MollyBerry · 24/07/2013 18:32

George Alexander is my friends name too. They're in good company!

Branleuse · 24/07/2013 18:32

oh no. How will you tell them apart?

99problems · 24/07/2013 18:32

Lol, telegraph updates. I know I'm being unreasonable but I chose the name George 5 years ago because it wasn't heard of much but was still a 'normal' name, now there will be ten a penny!

MrsSparkles · 24/07/2013 18:34

You must have very good taste. I think it's a lovely name!

northernlurker · 24/07/2013 18:34

BBC says George Alexander Louis - have you got Louis too OP?

99problems · 24/07/2013 18:35

Thank you MrsSparkles! Baby was also born on my birthday, totally stealing my thunder here!

OP posts:
99problems · 24/07/2013 18:35

Nope not Louis Grin

bootsycollins · 24/07/2013 18:35

Me and dh's guesses were Alexander and George, we we both right. Lovely name.

Needingthework · 24/07/2013 18:36

DS2 has one of the new prince's names. However, my one is 8 years old, so can live with their choice Grin.

MrsSparkles · 24/07/2013 18:37

99 if you're anywhere near London the Shard was giving away free tickets to anyone born that day. But that is a bit rude - taking your birthday and your names Smile.

99problems · 24/07/2013 18:38

Not near London unfortunately, but yes very inconsiderate indeed!

They've got my carseat. I always knew I was a trendsetter

Morgause · 24/07/2013 18:40

Lots of Georges around here already.

Fluffyears · 24/07/2013 18:41

Aargh Alexander is name I have picked out if I ever have a boy. It's not that common but now I'll be accused of copying Kate :(

Itsjustafleshwound · 24/07/2013 18:44

Twas my 1st choice for my son, but DH didn't like it

RedHelenB · 24/07/2013 18:47

Very unoriginal - there's been 6 of them already!

apostropheuse · 24/07/2013 18:47

His third name is Louis, named after Louis Mountbatten. Louis is also one of William's names - also after Mountbatten. I remember trivia like this!

99problems · 24/07/2013 18:48

I really didn't think they would call him George because it was so typical/expected!

OP posts:
YouStayClassySanDiego · 24/07/2013 18:51

I like it, classic and modern although I would have liked Albert, not that it matters now.

George Cambridge sounds solid and strong, I like it!

propertyNIGHTmareBEFOREXMAS · 24/07/2013 18:59

Love George but don't like Alexander. Would have preferred King Kai though.

Xmasbaby11 · 24/07/2013 19:00

Very dull name. Not surprised.

SlangWhanger · 24/07/2013 19:00

I have a 20 year old George - he was born overseas and was always the only George in whatever school he was in (big schools too). When we recently returned to the UK there were 5 George's in his class. Admittedly one was actually a female Georgia but she went by the name George.
George is very popular.
