I a going to start watching sky news now, I stuck to BBC news yesterday

I watched itn and I loved that the bingo wing was right next door to Buckingham palace!

and when they said the future king is coming through the door and some old geezer came out in a suit

Then i had commentary off my 12 yr old who said his English teacher looked like Prince William. i said 'why is he bald?' and he said ' NO! he has haior at the back and at the front with a round circle of baldness that he spikes his hair to cover up'

I thought this was a very unfair description of someone

I saw the Brazilian women. They looked at her like she was deranged.

She interviewed one of those attention-seeking mentalists who you always find at these things wearing a Union Flag suit and talking twaddle.

She was interviewing a man yesterday and completely ignoring him and looking somewhere else... terrible!!!

No, I had one eye on a piece of work and Sky News on in the other room.

I escaped from that kind of duty a long time ago. I look back with wistfulness about the camaraderie.

But in reality you either get sunburned or frozen but more usually wet, you become obsessed with finding a toilet, the news editor insists you call him constantly even when nothing's happened only to scream at you for wasting his time, a policeman tells you where to stand and then another one tells you to move, photographers shout obscenities at you for getting in the way and there's the constant fear that you'll be having a wee when it all happens and you will be sacked.

Or that you'll be there and a 15 stone photographer will crush you. Or Kay Burley will throttle you.

I always think those massive crushes of photographers and reporters must be scary to be amongst (and even more so to be in front of). I watched the bit with the Middleton parents and it looked a bit overwhelming, all the people shouting Carole etc.

She is (or was) in a relationship with The Sun's political editor and I think this goes some way towards explaining her durability despite endless foot in mouth episodes... Call me cynical.

I figure she must know where all the bodies are buried otherwise why else would they still use her - they can't actually think she's an asset. I can't watch Sky News if she's on and normally I couldn't tell one newsreader from another.

I saw her the other day and she was awful, no eye contact and kept interrupting people.

You have arguments with other reporters and there's pushing and shoving. If you hate someone from TV or radio you can always ruin their interview by muttering obscenities.

It's unlikely you'll be in front of the photographers. They'll scream at you if that happens.

I was outside a party where Princess Diana was expected. Claudia Schiffer arrived and was posing just when Diana's car pulled up. Suddenly the photographers started shouting: 'Fuck off, you stupid cunt.'

I don't imagine that happens to Claudia often.
