Without constant whining to be allowed to have some, but only when it is at the right temperature. Even then the whinging continues until the temperature is just right. Then even as I bring the bloody cup to my mouth, i am pawed and whined at until i relinquish and give up my Brew

Dog or child? Please god not husband!

RobotBananas · 21/07/2013 09:57

My sister used to take the used teabag and put it in a second cup with a bit of boiling water, then top up with milk for her DS, or he'd just pinch hers.

PoppyAmex · 21/07/2013 09:59

I bought this and now manage to have hot tea.

It boils water to 70,80,90 or 100 degrees, so if you use it at 70 you can drink your tea pretty much immediately or if you need to wait, it has a "keep warm" function.

I love my kettle, can you tell?

Erm. Say no. Or lock yourself or him in another room Grin

BikeRunSki · 21/07/2013 10:09

Go to work. This is the only place I am in charge of my tea drinking, although not so.much since we got Zip taps, which are not hot enough to make a decent cuppa.

LEMisdisappointed · 21/07/2013 10:09

Ive tried that Blackholes, even locking him in the garden but the neighbours complain about the noise!!!

Just say no and stick to no! We had this for months, we stuck to it it works!! Make DC their own appropriate drink to have if they choose to drink it and stick to NO!!! Not harsh but very fair.

LEMisdisappointed · 21/07/2013 10:13

Its the same at dinner time, whining for food from our plates and then if we leave the plates out he will climb onto the table and help himself - its embarrasing when we have company, they think he is half starved!
