To wonder why on earth people post pictures of themselves on ebay?

Been looking at dresses on ebay and am amazed at the fact that people even model the clothes themselves. Some of the pictures are posed quite provocative and others are just damn right unflattering.
It does not make me want to buy the clothes, am I missing something?

Lol at the tescos pants. I could do with a bit of pocket money. Knowing my luck though the parcels would come undone all over the post office florr!

Claire - Shock I really don't get it! WHY would you plaster yourself on ebay like that, bum and crotch close up, and she looks like an ordinary nice young girl - until you see she has no sense of what's appropriate OR tastes...Jesus wept!

allaflutter · 20/07/2013 23:30

taste

i see what you're saying ClaireandGeorge - but if I were the body shape of either of the two women in the links of my previous post it would encourage me to purchase as I know it would suit me, iyswim?

i agree with inneed that the rest are catering to the dirty old men market Wink

allaflutter i'd say she needs/wants the money...

can't see why else she'd be doing it

UseHerName · 20/07/2013 23:34

oh and the one on my first link has a 'hanger' pic and a 'modelled' pic

allaflutter · 20/07/2013 23:36

Use - well ok, but it's very little money anyway, and she looks like she has a job (a typical retail or office type girl). More to the point, the 60s skirt would sell anyway, they are trendy! it's quite sad really. Doesn't she care if her friends or family see her?
