Dd - just turned 3 - cannot/will not fall asleep without playing with someone else's hair.

She is not fobbed off with woollen doll's hair.

I am thinking a random head in her bed may prove beneficial and stop me going insane.

Is this very wrong?

I am an exhair twiddler finger sucker (thumbs were too common for me Grin) Sometimes I wove my hair between my fingers, it felt like silky stroking, other times \I would wind my hair around my finger and use another to stroke it. Neither of these could be substituted by a girls world, the hair didn't feel right.

However I did find suitable substitues in satin clothing labels, ribbons, and my favourite was a satin tie.

I think that sadly Girls world will not stop your DDs obsession with stroking your hair but It would ease any tensions you feel whilst you get the blasted thing to stick to the table whilst you comb the knots out of it
