Last couple of days, mild, warm, overcast with spells of sunshine, a fair breeze. Not exactly a heatwave though? South east btw

Its hot here in central scotland.Was cooler yesterday.We are at a big park and every face is shining with sweat.

I'm in NI too and this is definitely the first summer we've had in the seven years i've lived here a heatwave, it's also not the first spell of nice weather we've had this year either.

SE too. Definitely warm and sunny but not hot. Quite a chilly breeze as well.

It's also a bank holiday tomorrow

Although I will now have to cross a ridiculous number of body parts in the hope that my smugness doesn't lead to rain

There's a breezer here today so it's cooler but still warm and sunny. The last week has been ridiculously hot though. Somerset.

We've got about 21° today. It's normal for the time of year. It's just that the last few years have been so abnormally dismal, we'd forgotten!

Years ago, these kind of temps would just be 'Summer'.

Nowadays it is so exceptional to have a sustained period of decent temps and sunshine that it has to be given the title 'Heatwave'

I also remember 1976 (albeit at a young age) - now that WAS remarkable and exceptional!

Your having a laugh arent you? I have never known hotter weather been in my bikini and still sweltering.

Tis rather warm in Glasgow, very muggy, clammy heat though

Maybe not where you are . But another one in NI - hot, hot, hot. Kids already off school - playing out, playing in back gardens until 9pm, icecream vans, sunbathing in bra and knickers - all the Mumsnet faves

tis a weak cold front that has gone through. Back to hot on Saturday.
