Amanda, normally I would feel sorry for somebody in that position, but Liz Jones has insulted me and others like me so often and with such vitriol and ignorance that my sympathy for her has gone.

I'm not being funny (yes I am) but I have just looked up a picture of her kids and they are odd looking.

How dare she say my DS1 is a lesser person than her oddly named oiks, I loved my baby so much it was untrue. He had lovely golden hair and I was proud of him. Gah that woman! I have red hair and was massively picked on at school in a 'humourous' way (ginger minge, carrot top, Duracell (our uniform was black) etc). It made me miserable and really affected my self esteem for years. A friend recently told me that he fancied me at school but didn't dare ask me out because of fear of abuse because I had red hair (NB this didn't deter other, less wimpy boys!). People like her should be prosecuted. If she was peddling such crap about people from minority ethnic groups she'd be arrested.
